Senor Santos Restaurant, Clark Quay Singapore

Hola! Senor Santos. Malaysian-made. True blue Brazilian. No holds barred meat. Recently opened at Clark Quay, Singapore, the restaurant was conceptualised and delivered by none other than Real Food Company, the brains behind the successful MeatWorks restaurant at Solaris Mont Kiara. scratchdisk was once again called upon to develop visual identity and collaterals for the restaurant. Getting into Spanish mode, rushed out the collaterals (ariba, ariba!) just in time for the launch last month. If you’re around, Clark Quay, pop by Senor Santos for some samba and good old authentic Brazilian fare! Comamos! (more…)

MeatWorks. For all your meaty cravings. And more.

MeatWorks is a fresh F&B concept combining restaurant, deli, butchery and MeatStudio. Masterminded by NFC – National Feedlot Corporation, possibly the largest halal, organic beef producer in Malaysia, MeatWorks offers global cuisine in a contemporary, rustic setting. The MeatWorks project is by far, one of the most interesting and challenging projects scratchdisk has ever undertaken. Being involved from ground up, scratchdisk was tasked to develop the branding, visual identity, environmental graphics and more. The design and creative process proved to be very fulfilling and gratifying simply because of the Client’s involvement in every stage of development. Receptive to ideas, yet knowing what they wanted or didn’t want, pushed scratchdisk to be better and do better. The passionate MeatWorks team truly inspired us and even from the start, we believed in the brand, what it stood for and what it could develop into. We are indeed glad to be part of MeatWorks’s growth and thankful that we’ve been given an opportunity to do great things with the brand. We love it so much we’ve pushed the idea of using social media to the Client, and MeatWorks is now on Twitter and coming to Facebook real soon. We’re currently developing the official website and more!

Follow MeatWorks on Twitter, and we’ll keep you posted on the up-and-coming Facebook and official website.

scratchdisk’s Identity Gets 2.0 Makeover

sd-card1.jpg

sd-card2.jpg

scratchdisk’s identity, starting with its business cards has been given a complete makeover. Call it ‘Version 2.0′ for 2009, the card is a much cleaner, no-frills direction, not only incorporating an updated scratchdisk logo (we’ve dropped the icon) but also proudly bearing our association to Level5, a creative group we’ve set-up with Paper Cut Ideas, Simpleet Solutions and Wilfredstudios.

The new card is devoid of colours (one spot colour printing), utilising environmental-friendly paper from Fine Paper Takeo and executed with a simple emboss. The new identity gives a clue as to where scratchdisk is heading as a creative company – simple (back-to-basics), socially-responsible and innovative.

Coming right up will be an updated website to be consistent with the new look plus moving to new premises in April! Looks like 2009 is a time for change!

What do you think of the new cards? Tweet us!
